This tape is recommended for use with Resincoat liquid rubber waterproof coating to reinforce large cracks and holes thoroughly insulating your surface and providing a long lasting, durable design. Each roll is 50mm x 90 linear metres in length.
Resincoat geotextile tape is used to strengthen the sealing of roof elements such as roofing felt / sheet metal, joining and fixing flashings, insulation of chimney bases, manholes, skylights and other elements that require special protection. This tape is a long lasting product that when used alongside other liquid rubber coatings can provide excellent waterproofing & protection.
Application Guide:
Preparation –
Before using this product clean and dry the roof surface to make sure it is free from dust, dirt, oils, surface flaking or any other contaminants.
Application Instructions –
• Apply a coat of Resincoat liquid rubber waterproof coating to any cracks or holes • Place a strip of geotextile tape on top of the liquid rubber • Seal the tape with a further coat of liquid rubber. Ensure the liquid rubber covers the entire strip of tape securing the tape • Repeat this process for further cracks or holes
