Resincoat Aggregate is a kiln-dried silica sand which when added to paint gives it anti-slip properties. It is available in a range of grades to provide varied slip resistance as per user requirements. Resincoat Aggregate silica can be added to any of our floor paints and coatings, and even some screeds or mortars to improve the level of slip resistance achieved underfoot.

DESCRIPTION
Industrial Floor Polyurethane Screed
Resincoat Polyscreed has been designed to provide excellent resistance to general abrasion, corrosive chemicals and physical impacts making it a superb choice for chemical factories, breweries and food preparation areas, where more than just a sprucing up is required. The screed is great for industrial areas, docking/loading bays, or any working areas where there may be an increased risk of slips.
Heavy Duty Polyurethane Screed
If your floor is uneven a screed will be able to provide a level of flatness. Various screeds are available commercially, however, polyurethane screed is generally regarded as the best and most durable. Manufactured by Resincoat in the UK, we can guarantee high performance and quality of our polyurethane screed. Easily trowel applied, the screeds fluid consistency makes it workable on your floor and can easily be applied in one step. The fast cure time means there is little down time and minimal disruption to the workplace.
COVERAGE RATES
This product should be applied at a depth of 4mm or 6mm. A 30.3kg pack of Resincoat Polyscreed Industrial Polyurethane Screed typically yields:

APPLICATION GUIDE
Preparation
Before applying the Industrial Polyurethane Screed there are some critical steps you must follow to prepare your surface to ensure good adhesion. Surfaces should be mechanically prepared (shot-blasting or grinding) and in a sound, dry condition. Any existing concrete or cement screeds must be fully cured and any laitance or loose materials removed, ensuring that the area is cleaned and vacuumed thoroughly before undertaking the following:
1. The floor must be primed using an applicable epoxy primer (see "Priming" section below). The primer you use will depend on your current floor condition, if using a damp tolerant or oil tolerant primer, then 1 coat should be applied and left to cure before a second coat is applied. All other primers will require just 1 coat.
2. Whilst the primer is still wet fully, cover the area with an aggregate like our anti-slip additive in a medium profile.
3. This is then left to cure to create a sandpaper like surface.
4. Once fully cured (typically 12-24 hours, depending on the primer used) brush off any excess aggregate and address any glossy patches by applying some more primer and aggregate.
5. Once fully covered in aggregate and cured, you can now begin applying the Resincoat Polyscreed Industrial Polyurethane Screed.
Priming
• For new concrete floors or floors in good condition, prime with Resincoat Damp Tolerant Primer
• For dusty, old or weaker floors prime with Resincoat Deep Penetrating Primer
• For greasy floors with heavy oil residue clean thoroughly using a suitable degreaser scraping off any dust or dirt and then prime with Resincoat Oil Tolerant Primer
Application
1. Resincoat Polyscreed Industrial Polyurethane Screed should be applied no longer than 24 hours after the primer has cured or is dry to the touch.
2. Using a slow-speed large free fall resin mixer, mix Part A on its own for about 2 minutes. Once mixed, add ALL of Part B to the unit and continue to mix for another 2 minutes. Finally, add Part C over the course of 3 minutes, mixing thoroughly to create a consistent product.
3. Discharge into a clean bucket and apply immediately with a consistent, thorough coating method. Start by pouring the product evenly in a thin line across the prepared area (the line should be approximately 400mm wide).
4. Spread the product evenly using a suitable trowel or pin rake.
5. Immediately follow this process by rolling with a spiked roller, moving down the floor towards exits and repeating the process until complete.
6. Leave to cure for up to 48 hours before it can be trafficked on. A full chemical cure should be achieved after 7 days.
PLEASE NOTE: The pot life of this product is 15 minutes. This means that once parts have been mixed, the product will start to chemically cure after this time. Ensure you remove the compound from the tin in this window. The paint will then be workable on your floor for a further 30 minutes.
Pot life = Time to harden in pot following addition of hardener
Working Time = Time to apply product before it becomes unworkable
